The title of Taiwan’s largest Ferris wheel has a new holder — Lihpao Landmark has introduced Asia’s second-largest Ferris wheel, “Sky Dream,” imported from Fukuoka, Japan. It is currently under intense assembly and is expected to open in the summer of 2016 together with its Outlet mall. Once operational, it will not only be the tallest structure in the Greater Taichung area but also replace Leofoo Amusement Park as Taiwan’s largest Ferris wheel.
Myanmar International Airlines and Myanmar National Airlines to launch Taipei–Yangon flights on January 26 next year
New airlines will launch Taipei services in 2016, with Myanmar International Airlines and Myanmar National Airlines set to begin operations in Taiwan next January. Myanmar International Airlines will be represented by Golden Far East Travel Agency, while Myanmar National Airlines will be handled by Das Travel Agency. It is rumored that the first flight is scheduled for January 26, but the Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) has responded that it has not yet received applications from the two airlines.
