The well-known Japanese electronics retail chain “BIC CAMERA” recently announced on its official Traditional Chinese fan page that, in order to make the name easier for people to remember,it has officially changed its Traditional Chinese company name to “必客家美乐””, but netizens don’t seem to be on board, with some even joking that they thought it was a pizza place.
“BIC CAMERA” has a total of 38 chain stores across Japan, selling everything from home appliances to cameras. In recent years, it has also collaborated with fashion brands to create multi-purpose shopping malls, making it the top choice for many Taiwanese travelers looking to buy items like induction rice cookers, vacuum cleaners, bread makers, or find an N97 hair dryer.
