Hot Spring Trips in Ruisui, Hualien This Winter Are a Hit！Special Onsen Shuttle Buses Launch on Weekends

There's nothing better than soaking in a hot spring during the cold winter months！Still haven't decided where to go for a relaxing soak？To promote Ruisui’s Golden Hot Springs,the Hualien County Government has partnered with local travel agencies to launch the 2015 Hot Spring Shuttle Busservice. They’ve specially designed a one-day Hualien itinerary and recommended plenty of local souvenirs and specialty restaurants for visitors—such as Ruisui fresh milk, Wuhu tea, and coffee products.

According to the Hualien County Government, Ruisui Golden Hot Springs holds precious memories for residents of Hualien and Taitung. The springs were first discovered by the Atayal people and flourished during the Japanese colonial period. With water quality similar to that of Japan’s famous Arima Onsen, the springs attracted many Japanese hot spring enthusiasts. Due to development and infrastructure built during the Japanese era, Ruisui Golden Hot Springs have become one of Taiwan’s most renowned hot spring destinations.

Cost：One-day itinerary starts from NT$600 per person (additional NT$300 required for those visiting Zhaofeng Farm Hot Spring Area [includes entrance fee and round-trip shuttle bus fare of NT$100]).
