The Prince Hotel attracts visitors to Taiwan with the debut of a dreamy night tour of its ski resort

Japanese-themed tourism has drawn significant attention from Taiwanese travelers in recent years, especially winter skiing. For the first time, The Prince Hotel Group from Japan has come to Taiwan to promote its nine ski resorts to Taiwanese travelers. Visitors can enjoy winter fireworks shows, snow banana boat rides, or night tours of ski resorts—experiences that are highly appealing.

Japan is a country rich in mountain, sea, and natural landscapes, offering different charming sceneries throughout the four seasons—cherry blossoms in spring, the ocean in summer, autumn foliage, and snowy landscapes in winter. In 2014, Japan welcomed 13 million international visitors, with Taiwanese tourists accounting for 2.8 million, making them the largest group of international visitors to Japan.

Kasai Satoshi of the Marketing Department at The Prince Hotel Co., Ltd. pointed out that the nine ski resorts include the Furano Ski Resort, the newly established Ishiuchi Ski Resort, the Naeba Ski Resort, the Kagura Ski Resort, the Mashu Onsen Ski Resort, the Yachiho Kogen Ski Resort, and others.<额山滑雪场及妙高杉之原滑雪场，可以搭乘雪上车徜徉在滑雪场的山麓间、梦幻滑雪场夜间游览、高空俯瞰烟火、雪上摩托车，都是首创行程。

Among them, the Ishiuchi Prince Hotel, which has its own natural hot spring source, began operations in December 2015. Located in Iwate Prefecture in the northern part of Japan’s main island of Honshu, it offers a taste of Japan’s traditional charm through the ages. The upper-floor guest rooms at the Ishiuchi Prince Hotel have been renovated. These rooms offer views of the majestic mountains and valleys and feature designs that incorporate natural and industrial elements as their themes, creating a rich and open space.
