Taiwanese photographer Jane Juan-Ling captures these warm moments on the British streets through her lens.

Currently residing in York, UK,Jane Juan-Lingis a Taiwanese photographer from Tainan who has been living in the UK for 12 years. Through her lens, she tells one story after another. Jane Juan-Ling mentioned that London’s busiest street—Regent Street—is filled with the aroma of cinnamon in December. On this everyday street, there's a strong sense of a Christmas movie atmosphere. Although Christmas decorations are common and may even seem a bit mundane, for Jane, they bring a sense of happiness to daily life. The sparkling lights bring inner fulfillment.

As the sky darkens, Birmingham’s Christmas Market quietly comes alive on the other side. Here, you’ll meet mostly locals. When the song switches to a slow tune, strangers even hold hands, creating an inclusive and warm atmosphere that embodies the happiness of Christmas for the British—a joy found in sharing warmth with each other.
