Jiangxi Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

Built in 1953. The front hall of the memorial hall features calligraphy by Mao Zedong: “Communism is irresistible!” “A single spark can start a prairie fire!” “Long live the martyrs!” The main hall altar houses a monument inscribed by Zhu De: “Eternal glory to the revolutionary martyrs!”

Located on the northern section of Bayi Avenue in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, it was built in 1953. At the center of the square in front of the memorial hall stands a statue of a Red Army soldier. The martyrs’ cemetery area is located in the northwest corner of the memorial park, consisting of three parts: the martyrs’ tombs, the martyrs’ memorial hall, and the unknown martyrs’ tomb. Nearly 1

700 revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives in different periods rest here. In front of the unknown martyrs’ tomb is an eternal flame platform, where the continuously burning flames symbolize the undying spirit of the martyrs and the everlasting revolutionary cause. The east side of the park is the stele garden. Inscribed on the pavilions, walls, and stones are poems and writings by the martyrs. The calligraphy varies in style, all crafted by top domestic masters, making it a collection of contemporary calligraphy masterpieces.
