The most worthwhile sights at Nanchang Normal University are the historic buildings on campus. The old buildings at Qingshanhu Campus can be divided into eight main types based on their key features, including Italian-style architecture, Tang-style imitation architecture, European-style architecture, brick-and-wood structures, Russian-style buildings, donated structures, underground facilities, and landmark buildings, among others. The three oldest buildings were originally the command tower and factory sheds of the former Central Nanchang Aircraft Manufacturing Factory, built in 1935 — these are now the Command Tower Building, the Auditorium, and the Old Mei Building. Other historic structures include the General Affairs Building, the Wangzi Building, and the Foreign Experts Building, all built in 1952; the Old Music Practice Room from 1953; the First Teaching Building from 1955; the Second Teaching Building from 1956; the Old Physics Building from 1958; and the Old Library from 1959.
