Former Residence of Yang Houxing

The former residence of Yang Houxing is situated at No. 26 Nanhu Road, Nanhu Road Community, Baihuazhou Subdistrict, Donghu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, with coordinates of 28°41'00.7"N, 115°53'18.1"E, and an elevation of 35 meters. It is backed by the Gan River to the north, and faces the East Lake, South Lake, and North Lake to the south, with the Fu River adjacent to the west. To the west are Shengli Road and Xiangshan North Road, to the east is Huanhu Road, to the south is Minde Road, and to the north is Jiande Guan Street. It neighbors the First People's Hospital of the city to the west, the Shui Guanyin Pavilion to the east, the Lingying Bridge to the north, and the Zhuangyuan Bridge to the south.

Built in the 1950s, the residence is 13 meters wide and 11.5 meters deep, covering a floor area of 145 square meters. It faces south with a north orientation, has two stories, is built with a brick-and-wood structure, features an exterior of blue bricks, and has a pitched roof. During the 1980s and 1990s, Yang Houxing, the fifth-generation inheritor of Nanchang porcelain plate painting, lived here.
