Former Site of Yuxin School

The former site of Yuxin School is located at No. 287 Beijing West Road, Park Community, Dayuan Subdistrict, Donghu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. Constructed in 1952 and designed under the direction of the renowned architect Liang Sicheng, the administrative building has a width of 31 meters, a depth of 16.5 meters, and covers an area of approximately 500 square meters. It faces south, has three floors, and is built with a brick-and-wood structure, featuring a European-style sloped roof, red brick exterior walls, terrazzo flooring, and high-quality wooden stair railings. It is arranged in a triangular formation with two other teaching buildings. The First Teaching Building also faces south, has three floors, a brick-and-wood structure, a European-style sloped roof, red brick exterior walls, terrazzo flooring, and wooden stair railings. It measures 57 meters in width and 21 meters in depth, covering an area of about 900 square meters. The Second Teaching Building faces south as well, has three floors, a brick-and-wood structure, a European-style sloped roof, red brick exterior walls, terrazzo flooring, European-style decorative balconies, and wooden stair railings. It is 42.5 meters wide and 17.5 meters deep, with an area of approximately 750 square meters.
