The residential building at No. 1 Houqiang Road is situated at No. 1 Houqiang Road, Yangjichang Community, Baihuazhou Subdistrict, Donghu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. Its coordinates are 28°41'03.1"N, 115°53'04.8"E, and it sits at an elevation of 38 meters. To the north is the Gan River, while to the south lie East Lake, South Lake, and North Lake, with the Fu River adjacent on the west. Constructed in the 1950s, the building has a width of 15 meters, a depth of 9 meters, and covers a floor area of 135 square meters. It faces south, has two stories, and is built with a brick-and-wood structure. The exterior features blue bricks, and it employs a post-and-lintel framework with a pitched roof. The structure holds certain significance for the study and understanding of residential architectural styles in the early years after the founding of our city.
