Shen Suo Pagoda is located on Tagang Ridge, five kilometers west of Shixing County. The ridge is breast-shaped, standing one hundred meters high, with the pagoda built atop it. The pagoda is thirty meters tall and features a nine-story hexagonal brick structure with overlapping eaves. It was built during the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty. Bricks inscribed with “Reconstructed in the 16th Year of the Daoguang Reign” can be found on the pagoda’s body. Except for the fifth and ninth stories, each level has three doors, positioned alternately across the faces, with interlocking doorways between floors to enhance stability. The main facade faces east, directly overlooking the county town. The horizontal plaque above the main gate on the third floor is inscribed in regular script with “Hui Wen Lan” (literally “Literary Ripples Reversed”), while the fifth floor bears the inscription “Wu Xing Kui.”
Nanshan Nature Reserve is located southwest of Shixing County. The Li Gong Cliff Tombs are located in a cliff cave on the northern side of Jiuliantang Village, Huashan Township, Shixing County. This is a burial site from the Ming and Qing dynasties where coffins were placed inside cliff caves. The cave is 30 meters long, 2.5 meters high, and 2.5 meters deep, with its entrance facing south. There are 12 cave tombs and 10 brick-chambered tombs. The entrances of the cave tombs are sealed with blue bricks, and one of them features three coffins laid side by side, painted with vermilion patterns. The brick-chambered tombs are situated in front of the cave tombs, with most of their front sections protruding beyond the rock ledge. They include both single and double chambers.
