Xian Island Park

Also known as Yixian Park, Xian Island Park is located on Turtle Island at the entrance of the Qishierjing Scenic Area in the Longmen Islands of Qinzhou Port. The island earned the nickname "Turtle Island" due to its resemblance to a turtle slowly crawling toward the sea. From the island, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Qinzhou Port. Built in September 1995, Xian Island Park was constructed by the Qinzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat-sen and his vision to develop Qinzhou Port as the “Second Largest Southern Port.” The park stands in contrast to Qinzhou Port Central Square — on one side lies the bustling port under active construction, while on the other are the tranquil Qishierjing waterways and vast mangrove forests. A bronze statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen stands on the island. Upon entering the gate, visitors are greeted by lush greenery and a variety of ornamental plants lining the forest paths. Walking up the stone steps, one is met with the imposing sight of the giant bronze statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen.

The park features a square, a circular island road, a mountain path, granite steps, a wind wheel platform, a golden cauldron altar, and a gathering platform (capable of accommodating 500 people), as well as a barbecue area. It also includes 30 acres of planted ornamental plants such as peach blossoms, azaleas, and kapok trees, along with approximately 8,000 square meters of lawn, making it a great destination for leisure and recreation.
