As the summer vacation draws to a close, besides snagging discounted clothes, why not also save on food, fun, and entertainment? From August 7 to September 26, Taipei County is launching the “Taipei County Shopping Carnival,” where 500 different types of affiliated stores are waiting for you. By uploading your purchase receipts online, you can also enter to win attractive prizes. Quickly gather your friends for a “Summer Shopping Adventure in Northern Taiwan”!

The event has gathered 15 major commercial districts in northern Taiwan, organizing three main activities: “Win Great Prizes, Enjoy Delicious Food, and Have Fun Exploring.” These cover Tamsui, Jinshan Temple Area, Shenkeng Old Street, Bali Left Bank, Sanxia Minquan Old Street, Pingxi, Ruifang Jiufen, Wulai, Pinglin, Xindian Dapi Tan, Yingge Ceramics Old Street, Luzhou Temple Area, Sanchong Fabric Street, Xinzhuang Temple Street, and Xinzhuang Zhonggang River Corridor. By combining travel, leisure, cuisine, culture, and craftsmanship, the carnival promotes local tourist attractions, ensuring the final stretch of summer remains exciting.

On September 11 and 9 12, the “Fun Exploration” Carnival will take place at the Seaview Plaza of Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf, featuring exciting performances by the Samba Drum Team, Tamsui Body Voice Theatre, and the Momo Family. Paired with an on-site gourmet feast, both adults and children can have a blast. During the event period, a single purchase of NT$200 or more allows you to upload your receipt online to enter for a chance to win a 42-inch LCD TV, luxury hot spring resort accommodation vouchers, Bangkok 5-day flight tickets, and more. A weekly food vote will also give out food vouchers and surprise gift bags—so you can eat and win big.
