Twin Towers Landmark of Xinzhuang Special District
Banqiao New Station, with its striking twin-tower architecture, along with the Taipei County Government Building, forms a modern urban landmark of Xinzhuang Special District. It integrates four rail lines—the Taiwan Railways, High-Speed Rail, MRT Blue Line, and the future MRT Circular Line—plus nearby long- and short-distance bus terminals, creating a dense transportation network that firmly establishes Banqiao New Station as a key transit hub in the Greater Taipei area.

The 25-story station building uses the first-floor lobby and basement levels as the main transportation spaces, with businesses such as bookstores, restaurants, fashion malls, and bakeries inside. Universal Mall is set to open in April 2010, adding even more vibrancy to Banqiao Station. Additionally, the B1 level of the new station has recently become a popular spot for teenagers to practice street dance. The bright, spacious area provides an ideal environment for dance rehearsals, especially on weekends when many skilled dancers gather to practice and perform, creating a unique "spectacle" within Banqiao Station.
 

A Modern and Stylish Mixed-Use Complex
The Taipei County Government Building stands in Xinzhuang Special District of Banqiao City, towering at 140.5 meters. Its modern gray structure serves not only as a government office but also houses trendy restaurants, bookstores, bakeries, an observation deck, indoor cultural activity spaces, relaxation areas, a children's play zone, and other facilities. Located near major commercial and transportation hubs, it often hosts large-scale concerts and events. The surrounding plaza, designed with geometric and natural elements, offers a peaceful retreat.
Additionally, don’t miss the North County Life Museum on the 3rd floor, which showcases Taipei County’s culture, history, geography, nature, and famous tourist attractions through engaging visuals and models, providing an in-depth understanding of the area. The same floor also features rotating art exhibitions displayed like "shop windows" along the corridors from the 3rd to 6th floors, with each level showcasing a different theme, creating a vibrant artistic space.

The 32nd-floor observation deck of the county government building, accessible directly from the basement, is the best spot to take in the panoramic views of Banqiao.
