Located in Dawoshan, Liancheng Administrative Village, Dacheng Township. On May 6, 1945, Zhang Shicong, commander and political commissar of the Third Detachment of the Guangdong Southern Resistance Army, liaison officer and military special envoy for the Party organizations of the Four Prefectures of Guangdong, and organizer and commander of the armed struggle in Baishui, was unfortunately shot and sacrificed here during a battle.

Zhang Shicong (1909–1945), childhood name Yunsheng, courtesy name Xueming, was born on the eleventh day of the seventh lunar month in 1909 into a well-off family in Goudao Shui Village, Baishui (now Dacheng, Pubei, Guangxi), Hepu County, Guangdong Province. His family had been farmers for generations, but his father also engaged in business, which afforded the family a slightly more comfortable life. Later, due to bandit unrest, his father was kidnapped by bandits and tragically killed when the family could not pay the ransom. The young Zhang Shicong, who lost his father at an early age, was the second of three brothers. The family relied on their mother and gradually fell into hardship.
