Located in Dang Village, Dang Administrative Village, Dacheng Township. On August 1, 1949, the 4th Detachment of the Guangdong-Guangxi Border Column held a grand meeting here to read out the order from the Central Military Commission, officially naming the detachment the “4th Detachment of the Guangdong-Guangxi Border Column of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.” At the same time, the Sixth-Wan Mountain District Committee of the Communist Party of China announced the establishment of Hepu County People’s Government here and appointed Zhu Lianqing as the county head.
Zhu Lianqing, also known as Huang Zhigang, was a native of Beicun, Dacheng Township, Hepu, Guangxi. Born in October 1917, he began working in February 1938.
