Shizuizi Site

The Shizuizi Site is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Shizuizi Site is located on a mountain ridge at an altitude of 935 meters, about 100 meters southeast of Shizuizi Village. The site is bordered by mountains to the east, a highway to the west, a ditch to the north, and divided into northern and southern sections by a small gully in the middle. The soil is loess, suitable for growing millet, sorghum, beans, and yams. There is a horse-cart road. The area spans 50,000 square meters, measuring 500 meters in length and 100 meters in width. The cultural layer is 1–2 meters thick but heavily damaged. Exposed artifacts include stone tools, pottery, and pottery fragments. Research confirms that this site belongs to the Longshan Culture of the Neolithic Age.

In July 1993, it was designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage protection unit by the People's Government of Hebei Province.

Pingdingbao Town: Pingdingbao Town borders Shandianhe Township to the east, Xiaochang Town and Xiaohezi Township to the south, Gaoshanbao Township to the west, and the Saibei Ranch to the north. Three major highways—Baoping, Banhu, and Zhanggu—run through the town, providing convenient transportation. The town covers a total area of 368 square kilometers, with 254,300 mu of arable land, including 165,000 mu of irrigated land, 76,000 mu of woodland, and 208,000 mu of grassland. It administers 24 administrative villages and 73 natural villages. In 2017, the town had a total of 9,663 households and a population of 23,093. The per capita income of farmers in 2017 was 8,865 yuan.
