Located 30 kilometers southeast of Guangshan County, Xinyang City, Henan Province, in Zhuanqiao Town. It lies 37 km north of National Highway 312, 32 km from the Shanghai–Xi’an Expressway, 20 km from Guangshan Station on the Beijing–Kowloon Railway, and 9 km west of the A’Shen Expressway. It is 98 km from Xinyang City. This was the site of the Jin–Ji–Lu–Yu Field Army’s high-ranking officers’ meeting (above brigade level), also historically known as the “Wangdayawan Meeting,” held during the Long March of Liu and Deng’s forces into the Dabie Mountains.

The memorial hall is divided into four major sections: the Meeting Site and Former Residence (Wen Family Ancestral Hall), originally built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. It is a two-courtyard, 16-room structure made of brick and wood, facing west with an eastward orientation, featuring a central courtyard surrounded by corridors. The entire building consists of a main hall, front hall, and north and south wing rooms, measuring 16.3 meters in length (north-south) and 23.4 meters in width (east-west), with a total area of about 380 square meters. It is a Qing Dynasty–style building with southern architectural characteristics. Main Hall: Single-eave, flush-gable roof construction, with five bays in width and one bay in depth, covered with plain gray tiles. Roof ridges are adorned with decorative ridge beasts at both ends. The beam frame follows a seven-rafter structure. The front eaves feature coffered ceilings and bracket sets. The corridor’s horizontal beams are carved with figures and floral motifs. On the north and south gable walls of the front corridor, there are two small side doors for access. The wall features latticed doors with 18 panels, all decorated with petal-shaped patterns. Above the latticed doors are horizontal transom windows. The interior and exterior columns of the main hall are square wooden posts, resting on square stone bases. Front Hall: Also single-eave, flush-gable roof, with five bays in width and two bays in depth, covered with plain gray tiles. The beam frame uses a seven-rafter structure, and the roof ridge is constructed with layers of bricks and tiles. Both ends feature ridge beasts and upturned eaves, with distinctive S-shaped hip rafters. The central bay of the front wall has latticed doors, while the side bays feature geometric-patterned latticework, all with horizontal transom windows above. The rear wall between the central and side posts of the front and rear bays is fitted with latticed doors. The corridor has a coffered ceiling. Left and Right Wing Rooms: Each has three small bays in width and two bays in depth, with flush-gable roofs and wooden flooring inside. Between the central and side posts of the front wall are latticed doors with floral patterns; the side bays have latticed windows with horizontal transom windows above. The corridors feature coffered ceilings. The floor plans and structural designs of the two wing rooms are identical.
