To promote local tourism and attract more Taiwanese visitors, Okayama Prefecture in Japan held a photography competition, inviting 10 talented photographers from Taiwan to plan itineraries, travel to Okayama, and capture its essence through their lenses. After evaluation, the top three winning works that best showcase the charm of Okayama Prefecture will be announced on August 15, and Okayama Governor Hirotaka Ihara will personally come to Taiwan to present the awards at the event.

This special photography competition in Okayama Prefecture invited participants to plan their travel itineraries from a Taiwanese perspective and travel to Okayama via the direct flight from Taipei to Okayama at the end of June to capture the scenery through photography. The 10 talented photographers presented stunning works showcasing the beauty of Okayama as well as their carefully selected photo spots, which will be exhibited at the event and shared with attendees.

In addition, to provide travelers with reference for planning a trip to Okayama, the event also invited popular blogger Megumi to share insights on the unique attractions of Okayama, teaching you how to enjoy the area. Participants who attend the travel planning seminar and answer questions correctly will receive white peaches and grapes air-freighted from Okayama, Japan, and will also have the chance to win additional prizes by participating in interactive games on-site. Limited-edition Okayama souvenirs will also be given out at the venue. The public is welcome to join.
