To promote local tourism and attract more Taiwanese visitors, Okayama Prefecture in Japan specially organized a photography competition, inviting 10 talented photographers from Taiwan to plan an itinerary, visit Okayama, and capture its essence through their lenses. After evaluation, the top three prize-winning entries that best showcase the charm of Okayama will be announced on August 15, and Okayama Governor TAKAHASHI Ryuta will personally come to Taiwan to present the awards at the event.

This special photography competition in Okayama asked participants to plan their travel itineraries from a Taiwanese perspective and travel to Okayama in late June via the direct flight from Taipei to Okayama to capture its scenic spots through photography. The 10 photographers showcased their stunning works highlighting the beauty of Okayama, along with their recommended photo spots, which will be displayed at the event and shared with attendees.

Furthermore, to help travelers plan their trip to Okayama, the event also invited popular blogger Megumi to share insights on what makes Okayama a unique destination and how to enjoy its highlights. Participants attending the travel planning seminar and correctly answering quiz questions will receive fresh white peaches and grapes air-flown directly from Okayama, Japan. They will also have the chance to win extra prizes by participating in interactive games on site. Limited edition Okayama souvenirs will also be given out. Everyone is welcome to join.
