Huachang Ecological Scenic Area

Huachang Ecological Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Huachang Ecological Scenic Area is located in Zhuanqiao Town, Guangshan County, Henan Province.

The Huachang Ecological Park is a comprehensive modern agricultural park integrating leisure tourism, ecological agriculture, and specialty farming and breeding, meticulously developed by the town’s Party Committee and government. It also serves as a microcosm of the town’s “Colorful Countryside” industrial poverty alleviation demonstration project. The Huachang Ecological Park was established through investment by Wei Junchang, a successful entrepreneur who returned to his hometown in 2007, and the park spans Ligang Village in Zhuanqiao Town and Caizhuang Village in Hushan Township.

The Huachang Ecological Park is built around the core of Weilaizha Village Group. The development of Weilaizha Village Group aims to enhance economic, social, and ecological benefits, establishing six major projects: people's livelihood, land use, ecological agriculture, rural tourism, new rural construction, and special poultry breeding. What was once a dilapidated village has now transformed into a picturesque scene with rows of willows along the riverbanks, shimmering ponds, pavilions in harmony, birds singing among fragrant flowers—turning it into a vast rural ecological garden that combines landscape gardens, farmhouse dining, family leisure, and eco-tourism.
