Pingxing Pass Fort is located in Pingxingguan Village, Hengjian Township, Fanshi County. It has a rectangular layout, with a perimeter of 1,050 meters and covers an area of 65,000 square meters. The overall preservation condition is fair. The fort originally had three gates — the East Gate, South Gate, and North Gate. The East Gate has been completely destroyed. The remaining base of the South Gate is still in place: it is 2.5 meters wide, 3.4 meters high, and extends 5.6 meters deep. The surviving section of the gate tower is about 5.1 meters high, though its architectural details are unclear. Both the northern and southern sides of the fort have barbicans.
