Tiejiahui Ruins

The Tiejiahui Ruins are a cultural tourism attraction.

The Tiejiahui Ruins are located on the terraces along the southern bank of the Hutuo River, between Tiejiahui Village and Nanguan Village in Xingyuan Township, Fanshi County. The terrain slopes gently from south to north, spanning two seasonal rivers and three small gullies from east to west, and crossing the Shagao Highway and the Beijing-Yuanping Railway from north to south. The site extends 2,500 meters from east to west and 400 meters from north to south, covering a distribution area of 1 million square meters. Exposed cliff sections reveal ash pits with openings 1.8 meters wide and 1.6 meters deep, featuring round bottoms. Collected artifacts include plain red pottery shards made of clay, gray pottery shards with rope patterns made of clay mixed with sand, and plain gray pottery shards made of clay. Identifiable artifacts include bowls from the Shaoculture period of the Neolithic Age, li (tripod cauldrons) and jars from the Xia Dynasty, and dou (food vessels) from the Han Dynasty. Based on the collected items, it is determined that this is a site dating back to the Shaoculture period of the Neolithic Age, the Xia Dynasty, and the Han Dynasty.
