Tianyuan Temple is located in Houdaibao Village, Hanjialou Township, Wuzhai County. According to the “Stele Inscription on the Reconstruction of Tianyuan Temple in Dui’bao, Lingxi Mountain” from the 24th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1898), the temple was first built in the first year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty (1368), and the current structures exhibit Qing Dynasty architectural style. To the west of Tianyuan Temple lives a resident surnamed Liu, whose courtyard houses seven steles commemorating historical reconstructions. It faces west and is situated east-west.
