Dragon King Hall of Luya Mountain

Dragon King Hall of Luya Mountain is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Wuzhai County.

Dragon King Hall of Luya Mountain is situated on the central peak of Luya Mountain in Dong’ershang Village, Qiansuo Township, Wuzhai County. According to an inscribed stone tablet, it was constructed in the sixth year of the Jiajing reign during the Ming Dynasty (1527). The structure faces east and has approximate dimensions of 6 meters in both east-west and north-south directions, with a total area of 36 square meters. Currently, there is one remaining stone-vaulted cave-dwelling, which is 6 meters wide, 6 meters deep, and 8 meters high. Inside the cave are a shrine and statues that were created in modern times. A stone plaque inscribed with “Dragon King Hall” is mounted above the doorway. There is also one surviving stone stele from the Ming Dynasty recording a reconstruction, although the inscriptions have become eroded. In 2001, the People’s Government of Wuzhai County designated it as a county-level cultural heritage protection site.

Qiansuo Township: "A township under the jurisdiction of Wuzhai County. It was part of Nanfeng Commune in 1958, became Qiansuo Commune in 1982, and was established as a township in 1984. Located in the southeastern part of the county, it is 5 kilometers from the county seat and covers an area of 64 square kilometers, with a population of 9,000. The Yang (Fangkou)–Ke (Lan) Highway passes through the township. It administers 12 village committees: Qiansuo, Yousuo, Nanping, Gushan, Zhangjia, Gejia, Xuejia, Duzui, Nijiawa, Jiubao, Fuzigou, and Bianqiangzi. The main agricultural crops are corn, potatoes, and sorghum. The area is known for onion production, which is sold across various regions. Facilities include a seed farm and an agricultural machinery station."
