The Hengshan Site is located about 100 meters north of Hengshan Village, Jizhuang Township, Dingxiang County. It is situated on the slopes at the foot of the mountain, extending approximately 500 meters from east to west and 600 meters from north to south, covering an area of around 300,000 square meters. Exposed on the cliff face are ash pits and other features. Collected artifacts include pottery shards made of sandy red-brown clay, sandy gray clay, and clayey gray clay. The decorative patterns feature cord marks. Pottery types that can be identified include tripods, jars, and steamers. Polished stone axes have also been found. This is a Neolithic site.
