Since Xiangji City reopened after a 20-year hiatus, only 150 roast chickens are available each day as only one batch can be produced every 90 minutes. As a result, number slips for ordering often run out before 4 PM during the trial operation period. Previously, number slips were handed out at noon every day, both on weekdays and holidays. However, starting August 16, number slips will be given out at 2 PM on regular days, while the noon distribution remains unchanged for holidays.

Since Koume got pregnant, we’ve been visiting Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital frequently for prenatal check-ups, so nearby food options have naturally become one of our top priorities. Little did we know there was an amazing creative restaurant right across from the hospital. Tucked away in the alleys of Wenhua 1st Road, “Huachao Handcrafted Cuisine” is located in the A8 Mall area near Chang Gung Metro Station. The “Taichung MRT Green Line” removes fences; trial operation scheduled for the end of 2018
Construction of the Taichung MRT Green Line is underway. The fourth phase, involving the removal of fences along both directions totaling 9.26 kilometers, has been completed on schedule, significantly improving traffic flow on Jianguo North Road to and from the high-speed rail station. The Taichung City Transportation Bureau also stated that the Taichung MRT Green Line is expected to begin trial operations by the end of 2018.

The breathtaking scenery of Lake Jiamei captivates everyone and attracts many hikers, but the Taitung Forest District Office recently discovered that some hikers, unable to descend on the same day or arriving without prior mountain hut accommodation permits, have caused disruptions. The Taitung Forest District Office announced that starting immediately, any hiker who checks into a mountain hut or campsite due to weather conditions or other special circumstances without prior application must not only pay the full accommodation fee but also a 50% service fee surcharge, and will face account suspension as a penalty.
