Tajik Ethnic Culture Park

The Tajik Ethnic Culture Park is located 69 kilometers from National Highway 315 and 77 kilometers from the county seat. Its main attraction is the Rainbow Waterfall. About 200 meters east of the Tajik Township government, there is a stone bridge. Looking up from beneath the bridge, you can see the naturally formed Rainbow Waterfall, which stands 20 meters high. Witnessing the sudden appearance of the rainbow offers a breathtaking view reminiscent of “a cataract soaring three thousand feet, as if the Milky Way had tumbled from the ninth heaven.” Around the waterfall, visitors can ride horses or donkeys, gather wild sea buckthorn and medicinal herbs, and enjoy the picturesque scene of “sunset clouds flying with a lone duck, autumn waters blending seamlessly with the boundless sky.” There are also cliff paintings on the steep cliffs at the upper gate of the Kangaz River. These rock carvings depict the ancient hunting life of the Tajik people. In the northern valley of Kangaz, there is a spectacular split in the mountain known as “Mountain Collapse and Earth Split One-Line Sky.” About 1 kilometer from the entrance to the Tajik Township, there are towering rocks and precipitous terrain. Here, the mountains stand tall, the waters rush fiercely, and the scenery is majestic. Looking up from the valley floor, one can only see a narrow strip of blue sky — hence the name “Mountain Collapse and Earth Split One-Line Sky.” Centered around the natural alpine hot springs in Bucun Village, visitors can enjoy alpine hot spring health baths and surf baths. The township has over 40,000 acres of pristine forest, which is the only natural pine and cypress forest in the region. It has the potential to be developed into a forest park for tourists to explore, admire, and even go hunting.
