Han Tuge Reservoir is located 25 kilometers from National Highway 315, 73 kilometers from the county seat, and 20 kilometers from Mugi Township. The reservoir was first built in 1954 and put into operation in 1958. It has a designed storage capacity of 1 million cubic meters, a maximum dam height of 5 meters, a crest length of 500 meters, a crest width of 3.5 to 4.5 meters, and a flooded area of 470,000 square meters.

There is a natural village near Han Tuge Reservoir in Mugi Township with convenient transportation. Currently, it offers summer retreats, leisure activities, swimming, fishing, as well as farmhouse services. Visitors can also enjoy the poplar forests by the village and experience the charm of the oasis.
