Sacred Pool

Sacred Pool is a natural rock cave, one of the five scenic attractions within the Wushan Water Curtain Cave Grottoes complex, which also includes Lashao Temple, Thousand Buddha Cave, Water Curtain Cave, and Sanqing Cave. It is located in Zhonglou Mountain, approximately 50 kilometers northeast of Wushan County, Tianshui City. The valley features layered peaks that are majestic and towering, secluded paths through lush forests filled with birdsong and floral scents, while springs gush from within the cave and streams trickle down the mountain, making it a rare celestial and sacred site. The cliff face of the cave is adorned with large-scale Buddhist murals from various dynasties, and halls, terraces, towers, and pavilions are built in harmony with the natural rock formations, creating an intriguing and picturesque layout.
