The Wushan Vegetable Science and Technology Demonstration Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Wushan Vegetable Science and Technology Demonstration Park is a comprehensive high-tech vegetable industry science and technology demonstration park built by Wushan County in accordance with the province's "365" modern agricultural development plan. It follows the approach of "government-led, unified planning, zoned construction, and corporate operation," integrating five key functions: scientific research and development, demonstration and promotion, technical training, breeding of superior varieties, and tourism. It is also one of the ten key modern agricultural science and technology demonstration parks developed by Tianshui City. The park has been designated as a provincial science popularization and training base, a Gansu Provincial Agricultural Science and Technology Park, and a Gansu Provincial Modern Agricultural Demonstration Park. In 2016, it was established as a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The park is located west of Luomen Town in Wushan County, covering a total area of 4,100 mu, with a total project investment of 460 million yuan. Its construction includes "one center, one market, and two zones" (a factory-style seedling center, a national-level vegetable wholesale market, a vegetable cold chain logistics zone, and a demonstration planting zone). It was fully completed and put into operation in 2015. To date, over 120 new vegetable varieties have been introduced, more than 30 have been selected and promoted, and hundreds of millions of high-quality seedlings have been cultivated. In 2016, after local farmers adopted the new varieties and technologies promoted by the park, the average household income increased by 2,000 yuan. The county’s vegetable industry added a total output value of 108 million yuan, accounting for 43% of the county’s annual new total output value. The demonstration and driving effect has been significant, making the park an "accelerator" for the development of the county’s vegetable industry.

To further leverage the park’s role in driving development, Wushan County has actively explored pilot reforms based on the "Three Changes" initiative, leveraging its industrial strengths. The county has guided Dengwan Village in Luomen Town to establish a targeted assistance relationship with the park. By adopting a model of "government supervision, corporate operation, farmer participation, and guaranteed dividends," efforts have been made to encourage residents to use special poverty alleviation loans to invest in the park’s development through equity participation. So far, cooperation intentions have been reached with over 20 households, which will further amplify the demonstration effect, boost household incomes, and accelerate the pace of poverty alleviation.
