Donghanping Site

The Donghanping Site is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Gansu Province.

The Donghanping Site is located to the south of Jinchuan Village in Wushan County. It covers an area of approximately 500,000 square meters. Artifacts unearthed at the site include stone axes, stone knives, stone rings, painted pottery jars, and gray clay pottery jars. Additionally, some earthen pit graves and brick-chambered tombs have been exposed. The cultural strata span from the Yangshao Culture and Xindian Culture all the way to the Ming Dynasty, and the site is relatively well-preserved. In 1960, the Cultural Relics Work Team of Gansu Province conducted a survey here. In 2000, the Gansu Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology carried out excavations at the site, discovering tombs from the Warring States Period and the Han Dynasty.
