Shinvshan Site

Shinvshan Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

Shinvshan Site Located in Shinvshan Village, Yonglong Town, Jingshan County, this site sits atop an isolated hill in a plain area. The hilltop is irregularly round, with flat terrain and covers an area of about 7,000 square meters. Except for the eastern part, which is a small hill, the rest of the site is flat. To the southeast of the site are Tianjiawan Site and Tianjia Mountain Site, while 600 meters to the north lies Baijiangtai Site, and 600 meters to the west is Chenjiadang Zhujiawan. The cultural layer at this site is about 1.2 meters thick. Collected artifacts include stone tools and pottery. Stone tools mainly consist of stone spades, and pottery is predominantly gray clay pottery with a small amount of black and red pottery. Decorations are mostly plain, with some cord patterns. Artifact shapes include tripods, bowls, basins, jars, as well as cord-marked roof tiles and tubular tiles.

Shinvshan Village: Shinvshan Village has 4 villager groups, 222 households, a total population of 846 people, and a total cultivated land area of 1,611.3 mu. The per capita net income is 7,100 yuan. The village has 39 Party members, divided into 4 Party groups, including 2 female Party members, 3 active-duty Party members, 36 non-active-duty Party members, 1 probationary Party member, and 1 aspiring Party member.
