Jingshan Tianhe Resort is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Tianhe Resort is situated in the southern part of the Dabie Mountain Scenic Area, a national-level scenic spot in Jingshan County, Jingmen City, Hubei Province. It lies against the "Green Forest Ancient Stockade," where the Green Forest rebel army camped during the Western Han Dynasty, and faces the "Hongshan Lake," the largest artificial lake in the Dabie Mountain Scenic Area. The area enjoys a moist climate and features intimate landscapes: blue skies, white clouds, emerald peaks, and forests all blend into the crystal-clear Hongshan Lake. Deep pools, dangerous rapids, flowing springs, and cascading waterfalls form a string of pearls seemingly fallen from the heavens. Mountain stockade bonfires, rural thatched cottages, terraced fields with shepherd’s flutes, and women washing clothes by the stream, along with farm delicacies such as smoked bacon, dried plum fish, corn cakes, and strings of chili peppers... It's truly a primitive, rustic, and magical place—an excellent destination to return to nature.

Covering a total area of 18 square kilometers, Tianhe Resort features main attractions such as the Baima River Rafting, Tianmen View Bamboo Rafting, Qingliu Gorge, Lovers’ Waterfall, Zhiyin Pool, Tongtian Cave, Hongshan Lake Water Island Resort, Botanical Garden, and Jiexionggang. It embodies the charm of "eastern lakes, western streams, southern caves, and northern gorges," making it one of the most distinctive and appealing destinations within the Dabie Mountain Scenic Area. The resort offers a range of facilities including rafts, bamboo rafts, speedboats, cruise ships, tents, bonfire parties, farmhouse meals, and local specialties. It presents four themed touring areas, featuring activities such as Tianhe Rafting, lakeside sightseeing, canyon exploration, and island leisure—all suitable for year-round tourism, vacationing, and relaxation. Here, you can escape the summer heat in the mountains, find tranquility by the stream, seek serenity in the gorges, explore the wonders of caves, and fully enjoy the intimate and carefree connection with the landscape.

Tianhe Resort Environment

Tianhe Rafting: Tianhe Rafting allows you to both wash your hands and feet and ride thrilling rapids. The 2.8-kilometer river course twists and turns through a serene environment with crystal-clear waters, cliffs hanging over the water, and trees lining the banks—offering a delightful journey full of excitement and joy.

Qingliu Gorge Exploration: The Qingliu Gorge stretches one kilometer in length and features 36 waterfalls of various sizes and nine natural caves. The valley is covered with entwined vines, filled with birdsong and the murmuring of springs, with winding paths leading to secluded and spectacular spots. Being here feels like stepping into a heavenly paradise where every step reveals a new breathtaking view. You can fully immerse yourself in the poetic ambiance of “moonlight filtering through pines and clear springs flowing over stones.”

Tongtian Cave Waterfall Viewing: Further up the Qingliu Gorge lies a rare natural cave. On the slanted upper part of the cave ceiling is a small opening about one meter wide, from which spring water cascades down like tens of thousands of pearls raining from the sky. The cave remains moist year-round, with clear spring water, and stalactites hanging upside down that resemble charging lions and tigers or dragons emerging from the mountains—vivid and lifelike. Locals say, “If you don’t visit Tongtian Cave, your trip to Green Forest is in vain.”

Every year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, a "Qixi Tianhe Magpie Bridge Festival" bonfire party is held here.
