The former site of the headquarters of the New Fourth Army’s Yu’e Advance Column is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province and a classic red tourism attraction.

Former Site of the Headquarters of the New Fourth Army’s Yu’e Advance Column

Located in Bazimen Village, Xincheng Town, Jingshan County. In January 1940, the New Fourth Army’s Yu’e Independent Guerrilla Detachment was reorganized into the New Fourth Army’s Yu’e Advance Column, with Commander Li Xiannian. The column’s headquarters was stationed here. The site is a traditional quadrangle-style building, 12 meters wide with three bays and 16 meters deep with three bays, featuring a flush gable roof and brick-wood structure. It was restored in 1980.
