Youziling Site

The Youziling Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

Youziling Site

Located in Qianchang Village, Qianchang Town, Jingshan County, this is a Neolithic Age site. It covers an area of approximately 10,000 square meters, with a cultural layer about 3 meters thick. Archaeological excavations were carried out in 1985. Unearthed artifacts include tripods, painted pottery bowls, painted pottery cups, ring-footed jars, high-necked jars, curved-belly cups, and pedestals. The Youziling-type remains are an important clue in tracing the origins of the Qujialing culture. This site is a typical example of the Youziling type and holds significant academic value.
