Also known as Fortune Reversal Valley, Good Luck Valley is a leisure resort area characterized by its beautiful mountain and water resources and rich rural charm. The Good Luck Valley Waterfall Cluster is located in Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, adjacent to National Highway 311, 12 kilometers from the Shiren Mountain Scenic Area and just 1 kilometer from the Huamei Valley and Eighteen Piles Scenic Areas.

Beautiful water brings good fortune: The Good Luck Valley trail follows the stream uphill, where mountain springs tinkle and floral scents fill the air. Within a stretch of less than 2 kilometers from the entrance to the Osmanthus Waterfall, there are over 10 waterfalls with drops ranging from 10 to 70 meters. Waterfalls such as the Flying Waterfall, Phoenix Cry Waterfall, Flying Dragon Waterfall, and Osmanthus Waterfall cascade like curtains, swirling with clouds and mist. Below the falls are pools formed in rock hollows—Lian Pool, Half Moon Pool, Divine Turtle Pool, Nine Maidens Pool, and Heart-Cleansing Pool—connected in a chain, clear as jade and smooth as a mirror. Schools of fish swim and play in the pools and streams, bringing a refreshing feeling to visitors.

Pristine nature: Good Luck Valley stretches over 10 kilometers, with deep valleys, serene gorges, dense forests, winding ancient paths, and vines arching like bridges. Everywhere you look, the landscape showcases pristine natural beauty.

Unique landforms and lucky rocks: The river valley in Good Luck Valley has a very distinctive landform, dotted with stone pools and slabs. There are many pictographic rocks in the valley, such as the Hippopotamus Rock, Monkey Rock, Dragon Bed Rock, and Frog Drum Rock. Particularly unique is the Good Luck Stone. On the left bank of Jiudong Gorge stands a giant duck egg-shaped rock, 2 meters high and 1.2 meters in diameter. Known geologically as a spherical rock, it is extremely rare in granite regions. It is said that touching it can bring great fortune, longevity, and lasting good luck, so every visitor to Good Luck Valley touches or circles it a few times, expressing a beautiful wish.

It takes about three to four hours to explore Good Luck Valley. The drive from Pingdingshan to Good Luck Valley (Fortune Reversal Valley) is approximately 120 kilometers, taking around two hours. Visitors are advised to stay at a farmhouse in Good Luck Valley to experience the warmth and flavors of rural life.
