Linfeng Manor is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Linfeng Manor is an ecological green estate that integrates ecological conservation, technological demonstration, fruit and forestry production, sightseeing tourism, and patriotic education. It is located in Shixiagou Village, Dongzhou Township, Lushan County, Henan Province, 15 kilometers from the county seat. The manor was first established in August 1999, covering a total watershed area of 5,140 mu. It was invested in by a family, developed as a commercial venture, and through 16 years of comprehensive management on a barren ridge, over one million trees were planted, achieving a perfect integration of “mountain, water, farmland, forest, road, and garden.” As a result, the manor has gained attention and recognition from national leaders. It has been successively awarded the titles of “National Sightseeing Agriculture Demonstration Zone” by the Ministry of Agriculture, “National Soil and Water Conservation Demonstration Zone” by the Ministry of Water Resources, and “National Pollution-Free Fruit Production Demonstration Zone” by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. As the manor gradually developed, more and more visitors from various fields came to observe. To meet this demand, Linfeng Manor built agricultural and military cultural industry projects on the existing foundation. In 2016, it was approved as a municipal-level patriotic education base by the Publicity Department of the Pingdingshan Municipal Committee and officially awarded the title.

On the square of Linfeng Manor, we have built a dedicated exhibition hall with a construction area of 4,500 square meters, displaying nearly 300 exhibits. It is equipped with detailed textual and pictorial materials, along with professional guides to tell the stories. The patriotic education base at Linfeng Manor has consistently fulfilled its intended functions and roles, delivering positive educational impact and social benefits. Each year, we continue to invest in construction and improve the environment around the exhibition hall.

In the square of Linfeng Manor, there is an old-fashioned steam train. Visitors are often amazed, saying, “There’s actually a train here, with tracks and signal lights!” Do you know why the carriages are green? Here, you can not only feast your eyes but also get up close to these cultural elements. According to the owner, the “green train” was once the most iconic image of passenger trains in China and holds deep memories. Many wedding photo spots even use the green train as a backdrop. Moreover, the interior of the carriages has been transformed, within safety regulations, into themed cabins. Even more excitingly, in the near future, the little train will be running on the land of Linfeng Manor!!

The “spiritual leader” of domestic cars, the Red Flag sedan, is considered a classic not just because of its age, but also due to the brand’s significant recognition. This Red Flag car is a witness to the development of China’s automobile industry. For 1950s China, the Chinese people, who had just lifted their heads from suffering and humiliation, were eager to prove themselves to the world and seized every opportunity. With the same reverence and pride as building an atomic bomb, they managed to hammer out a globally shocking automotive masterpiece—the “Red Flag”—even during a time of widespread famine. A world-renowned classic brand known to all ages. From then on, China announced to the world that it had the capability to independently research, develop, and produce high-end automobiles. In a sense, the Red Flag is a window through which the world views China, and its revival represents a source of pride for the Chinese nation.

There was once a type of vehicle in this world that symbolized justice, tenacity, and merit. Every soldier who fought alongside it called it: “as loyal as a dog, as agile as a goat, and as strong as a mule!”

This is the Willys Jeep, hailed by U.S. General Eisenhower as the “hero of war”!

The design of the Willys originated from war, and its success is also thanks to war. This angular “iron car” was the first to be called an off-road vehicle at the time—it’s the Jeep Willys.

As the originator of off-road vehicles, it emerged during World War II, a hero on the battlefield and a lifeline in the eyes of American soldiers. It could even represent the image of the U.S. military during that period. During the war, the simplest requirement in the arms race was reliability and convenience, and the Jeep Willys stood out after multiple rounds of selection, eventually becoming an essential mode of transport for U.S. troops.

When viewing classic car exhibitions, apart from admiring these timeless models, one gets to hear the stories behind them. Restoring any of them requires custom-made parts—the complexity of the restoration and maintenance process is something we spectators can hardly imagine.

These classic cars are like history books, telling the stories of their respective eras. Behind their elegant curves and classic design outlines lies the glory of those times.
