Zhumadian Leshan Ecological Culture Park

Zhumadian Leshan Ecological Culture Park (Leshan National Forest Park), located 7 kilometers northwest of Queshan County in Zhumadian City, was invested and built by Henan Zhonglu Fujii Investment Co., Ltd. The park is planned to include ecological leisure zones, religious culture areas, forest sightseeing sections, and ecological conservation areas, forming a comprehensive leisure and resort destination highlighted by attractions such as Yuzhen Palace, Tongxin Garden, Beiquan Temple Scenic Area, hot spring resort hotels, and a dining street.

The park is covered with pristine secondary forests, serene valleys and streams, diverse waterfalls and springs, mist-enveloped peculiar peaks and rocks, and picturesque bamboo groves, creating a uniquely beautiful natural landscape. Attractions within the Leshan National Forest Park Scenic Area include Sui-era fruit trees, Tang-era cypresses, the Bagua Pool, the Zigzag Pool, the site where Yan Zhenqing demonstrated his loyalty, ancient steles, ancient pagodas, Dragon-Tiger Rocks, Toad Spring, Immortal Cave, upside-down ancient cypress trees, the Zigzag Waterfall, the Eighteen Bends, and the “Eight Palaces, Two Temples, and One Worship Terrace” (Doumu Palace, Xuan Du Palace, Nanhai Palace, Yuxu Palace, Zixiao Palace, Lingying Palace, Wanshou Palace, Yuzhen Palace; the two temples being Qunxian Temple and Huilong Temple), all of which captivate visitors from near and far, surrounding the area like stars encircling the moon. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was as renowned as Mount Wudang and served as a sacred site for Taoism and Buddhism, attracting worshippers in an unbroken stream to this day.
