Taizipo Site

The Taizipo Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Henan Province.

The Taizipo Site is located in Taizipo Village, Puhuisi Township, Queshan County. It dates back to the Neolithic Age. On January 22, 2016, the site was designated as part of the seventh batch of cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Henan Province.

Puhuisi Town: Puhuisi Township is located in the southeastern part of Queshan County. The township covers a total area of 72 square kilometers and comprises ten administrative villages—Zhangying, Qiangou, Yaozhuang, Magou, Yuanzhuang, Baishan, Songlou, Taiyupo, and Puhuisi—with 157 villager groups, a population of 24,806, and arable land spanning 52,992 mu. The terrain features hills in the east and west, plains in the center, and stretches narrowly from north to south. The eastern region, dominated by Jinniu Mountain, is rich in mineral resources such as marble, limestone, and granite. The Beigan Canal of the Boshan Irrigation System runs through nine of the township’s villages, spanning a length of 11.6 kilometers.
