Liangshanpo Water Conservancy Scenic Area

Liangshanpo Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national wetland park.

The scenic area is located in Liangshan County and built around the Liangshanpo Reservoir. It is a reservoir-type water conservancy scenic area, covering a total area of 2.67 square kilometers, with a water surface area of 1.33 square kilometers.

The murals and sculptures in the scenic area mainly include: first, stories directly related to the classic "Water Margin," such as the three defeats of Gao Qiu, Emperor Huizong’s dream journey, and the Three Heroes of Ruan Family; second, widely known heroic tales, such as Wu Song fighting the tiger at Jingyang Ridge and Lu Zhishen uprooting the willow tree; third, vividly depicted scenes such as Golden Sand Beach, Wild Boar Forest, and Feiyun Ferry. There are 45 installations including various water-friendly facilities, cultural sculptures, and leisure squares. Ancient trees have been appropriately planted to create a historical and rustic atmosphere. Coordinated with the Liangshan Scenic Area, it forms a simple yet grand classical style that embodies the unity of modern civilization and historical culture.

Approved as the 12th batch of provincial-level water conservancy scenic areas in 2015.
