Located northeast of Xiaohé Village, Hucun Town, Handan County, Hebei Province. According to the *Handan County Annals*, the Shengjinggang Dragon God Temple was first built in the second year of the Yuán Yán? era (1315) and underwent multiple renovations during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Shengjinggang has been a site for rain prayers throughout the ages, with emperors from both the Ming and Qing dynasties dispatching officials to pray for rain here. Qing emperors conferred honorific titles and bestowed golden plaques upon the temple on five separate occasions. Currently, there are 113 rain prayer plaques made of silver, copper, tin, and iron, as well as three stone steles. The temple complex covers an area of over 16 mu, arranged along a north-south central axis that includes: a memorial archway, theater stage, mountain gate, front worship hall, main front hall, lotus pond, Nine-Dragon Bridge, Sacred Well Pavilion, rear worship hall, and rear main hall. Additionally, a pair of flagpoles stands in front of the mountain gate, with bell and drum towers on either side of the gate, and rear sections include Taoist living quarters, east and west side halls, etc. The surviving structures are all small-scale buildings with flush gable or hanging gable roofs covered with tile. The architectural complex densely covers an area of more than 900 square meters. The Dragon God Temple holds significant scientific value for the study of ancient rain prayer rituals and climatic conditions.
