Due to weather conditions, the cherry blossoms on Lalashan in Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, have bloomed a bit later this year. However, En’ai Farm—the most popular cherry blossom viewing spot on Lalashan—has recently been ablaze with explosive blooms of pink Fuji cherries. The entire expanse of pink floral scenery has visitors snapping photos nonstop. Who looks better—the people or the flowers? At this romantic time of spring blossoms, why not gather with family and friends for a cherry blossom outing?

A top choice for cherry blossom viewing in Taoyuan starts with the Zhongbalin Cherry Blossom Avenue in Fuxing District. On the 13th, the approximately 200-meter-long stretch of Fuji cherries lining both sides of the trail was in full bloom, making visitors feel as if they were surrounded by a sea of flowers. Many said it’s far more beautiful than Yangmingshan, and the poetic beauty of pink petals drifting down with the breeze along the walk is an added delight.

Next, head to En’ai Farm on Balong Center Road on Lalashan. Although the mountain road is narrow and driving is challenging—requiring brief waits at pull-outs to let vehicles pass—visitors can reach the farm smoothly with guidance from the staff. The moment you arrive, your eyes are met with an explosion of pink Fuji cherries in full bloom, instantly making you forget any discomfort from the drive.

The farm owner noted that currently, the Fuji cherries on the farm are in full bloom, followed by the arrival of some 30% of the thousand island cherries.
