When summer heat becomes unbearable, besides staying in an air-conditioned room, heading up to the mountains to enjoy natural cooling is another great solution. Located in Fuxing District, Taoyuan, the "Apple Farm" is a campsite, homestay, and restaurant. Situated at a high altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level, it offers breathtaking views from the sunrise and morning glow, cloud waterfalls, to the starry skies and Milky Way at nightfall — so stunning that netizens have dubbed it the "million-dollar night view," leaving all who see it enchanted.

Perched at the highest point of the Xuewunaoyao Tribe, the "Apple Farm" was established in January 2016 as a homestay, farm stay, and also offers a campsite. The site boasts a rare 360-degree panoramic view, where distant mountain ranges such as Lala Mountain, FuFu Mountain, Balin, and Daba Jian Mountain can all be seen. From dawn to dusk, the ever-changing natural landscapes often shrouded in mist leave travelers spellbound, attracting many who travel long distances just to spend a night under the vast sky.

Farm owner Ms. Lin shared that July and August are peak seasons for peaches. Due to the high altitude, the fruits grown on the mountainside are exceptionally sweet, and visitors can also enjoy the pristine forests and ecological landscapes. The idea to establish the Apple Farm came from her parents’ love for their children. Mr. Lin hoped his kids would grow up safely and one day help take care of this land together, so he spent five years building this paradise from scratch.

Camping costs 1,000 NTD per vehicle and tent, with the site providing space, bathroom facilities, and basic electricity — guests need to bring their own tents. The homestay offers both double and quad rooms, with prices on weekdays ranging from 2,400 to 3,600 NTD, and 2,800 to 4,000 NTD on holidays, all including breakfast.

It’s worth noting that fog is common in the mountains, so it’s recommended that travelers set off early and arrive before 3 PM. The winding mountain roads are tricky to drive, so extra caution is advised.
