The Site of Wanglang City is an ancient city from the Warring States and Han dynasties, located in Wanglang Village, Handan City. The site has a rectangular layout, with surviving walls stretching 680 meters in length, 16 to 34 meters in remaining width, 3 to 12 meters in height, and about 2 meters wide at the top. The walls were built from compacted yellow earth. According to the *Handan County Annals*: “Wanglang City is located about three li to the west of the county. It is said that Emperor Guangwu of the Han Dynasty campaigned against Wanglang, leveled its city, and now it has long been abandoned with no clear records.” Pottery shards and coins such as “Huo Quan” from the Warring States and Han periods have been excavated within the city, confirming that Wanglang City originated in the Warring States period and continued into the Han Dynasty. It is now a key cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province.
