Shangganling Xishui National Forest Park is a national AA-level tourist attraction, a national forest park, and a national water conservancy scenic area.

Xishui National Forest Park enjoys an exceptionally advantageous geographical location. It lies in the middle section of the Xiaoxing’an Mountains, within the Tangwang River basin.

It stretches 6.5 kilometers from east to west and 4.5 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 1,684 hectares. The park borders the site of the Xishui Forest Management Office to the south and is bounded by the Yiwu Highway to the northwest. The Xinchun Highway traverses the park from both its northern and southern ends, naturally dividing it into two triangular sections. With highly convenient transportation, it serves as an excellent destination for leisure, vacation, travel, and sightseeing, and stands out as a remarkable highlight along Yichun’s “ecotourism” green corridor.

The Russian Cultural Garden spans 20 hectares and consists of two parts: a leisure and entertainment center showcasing ethnic culture, and a performance garden. The garden is designed with Russian-style architecture as its theme. Here, visitors can experience exotic charm, watch colorful Russian folk dances, listen to elegant classical Russian music, shop for uniquely styled Russian goods, and savor traditional Russian cuisine. As night falls, blazing bonfires light up the sky, and you can dance with Russian girls, immersing yourself fully in the foreign atmosphere.

Seven Zones, Six Scenic Spots, Two Gardens

Primitive Arboreal Viewing Garden. Covering an area of 476 hectares, it is home to 614 species of primitive plants. Dominated by pristine mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests, the garden not only contains virgin Korean pine woods but also over twenty species of tall trees, encompassing all the precious varieties of tall trees native to the Xiaoxing’an Mountains.

The diversity of life here is vividly displayed, offering not only high visual appreciation value but also significant biological research and documentation potential. In summary, Xishui National Forest Park can be described as featuring “Seven Zones, Six Scenic Spots, Two Gardens, and one ?.”

Based on its natural advantages, the park is planned as “Seven Zones, Six Scenic Spots, and Two Gardens.” The Seven Zones are: Wildlife Protection Zone, Plant Cultivation Zone, Wetland Bird Protection Zone, Artificial Korean Pine Seed Orchard Protection Zone, Hunting Zone, Primitive Arboreal Viewing Zone, and Leisure & Entertainment Zone. The Six Scenic Spots are: Anti-Japanese United Army historical site “Old Money Cabinet,” nationally standardized nursery, –, Observation Tower, Deer Park, and Pine Waves Pavilion. The Two Gardens are: Russian Cultural Garden and Water Amusement Park.
