The twin bear head light and sound show at Abeno Harukas Tower dazzles with eye-catching lantern displays

Taipei 101 and Osaka’s Abeno Harukas Tower in Japan became sister skyscrapers in March 2017. Prior to this, Taipei 101 had also formed a sister skyscraper relationship with Tokyo Skytree.
Additionally, at the outdoor staircase leading to the subway connecting entrance, two giant bear head-shaped colorful lanterns are displayed. The light and sound show features patterns with symbols and flags from various countries, conveying Taipei 101’s warm greeting to travelers from around the world.
During the Spring Festival, Taipei 101 also hosts a pop-up art scene featuring French Bulldog sculptures—an activity perfectly themed for the Year of the Dog. Visitors to Taipei 101 during the holiday season shouldn’t miss these limited-time highlights.
