New Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Route – Beigang Prayer Line Available for Free Rides Temporarily

In recent years, "Taiwan Tourist Shuttle," which has been traveling all over Taiwan, has become a travel choice for many first-time visitors, offering the simplest way to explore iconic local attractions. Yunlin County has recently launched the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle – Beigang Prayer Line, and from now until September 15, it is offering a free trial ride experience. The route passes through various tourist attractions in Yunlin County, and in the future, it will also introduce discounted package tickets that combine travel itineraries, providing the public with more diverse options.

The "Beigang Prayer Line" is jointly operated by Chiayi Bus and Taisi Bus companies, integrating the development of local industries, religious beliefs, and cultural arts within the county. It departs from Chiayi HSR Station and operates 12 round-trip services daily. The route passes key local faith centers such as Beigang Chaotian Temple and Beigang Wude Temple, as well as sites representing Yunlin’s industrial development, including Yuanshun Sesame Sightseeing Oil Mill, Xinglong Towel Sightseeing Factory, and Xiluo Daozhi Cloudy Land Product Museum. In addition to places like Xiluo Yanping Old Street and Beigang Story House, where visitors can experience the simple local charm of Yunlin, there is also the Yunlin Puppet Theater Museum, allowing drama enthusiasts to relive the classic, soul-stirring performances of the past and get up close with the Taiwanese puppetry culture of their childhood memories.
