The Nangaozhuang City Site covers an area of 110,000 square meters, with a rectangular layout. Currently, the east, west, and north walls, as well as the moat and battlements, are preserved. At the north gate, a barbican still exists, while on the west side of the south gate, there is a stone plaque inscribed with “Sanhe Changping” (Three Harmony Long Screen), bearing the inscription “On an auspicious day in the eighth month of autumn, the year Jiashen, in the second year of the Wanli reign.” The city site has a rectangular layout, wider in the south and narrower in the north, and is largely intact. It has a perimeter of approximately 2,000 meters, walls 5 meters thick and about 10 meters high. The east and west walls were built along the moat using rammed earth, with an irregular shape, and feature five battlements each. The walls have eroded over time, becoming thinner, with partial collapses and man-made openings. Each of the south and north walls has one gate, and the north barbican is still preserved. Both the north and south gates have stone foundations and brick gateways.
