The Taiyuan Liberation Support Memorial Hall is located in Dianzidi Village, Houcun Township, Yangqu County, covering an area of 150 square meters. Dianzidi Village is a small village at the southernmost tip of Yangqu County, situated right behind Niutuozhai and lying on the essential route leading to the eastern hills of Taiyuan and Niutuozhai. During the liberation of Taiyuan, the vast liberation forces and the ceaseless support troops composed of stretcher teams, transport teams, and labor squads, as well as supply stations, forage stations, first-aid stations, material depots, the frontline command post, and the logistics command post, all passed through or gathered in this small mountain village. The Support Memorial Hall was established in Dianzidi Village based on the glorious history of the local people in Yangqu's old revolutionary base area actively supporting the frontline during the Battle of Taiyuan Liberation. It serves as an educational base themed around revolutionary tradition. The memorial hall features three exhibition rooms, housing over 300 precious historical photos and more than 100 revolutionary relics related to the support efforts of the people of Yangqu during the Battle of Taiyuan Liberation.
